Winter Sky Tennyson had his first test season here on the farm in 2005. Hes an extremely fine example of moorit with a lamb test at last rib of 21.5 with a 3.3 standard deviation. Tennysons fiber is dark, crimpy, soft and consistent from shoulder to britch.
His horns have good symmetry and are nicely spaced at one year of age. His disposition is playful but tentative, so he is easy to work around. His first lamb crop produced some surprisingly colorful lambs with exceedingly nice conformation, type and fiber. Hell be used more heavily in 2006. He is RR at codon 171.

Winter Sky Buster Brown is a 2006 son of Winter Sky Tennyson out of Winter Sky Sahra. Sahra comes from two generations of low 20 micron animals and is a direct daughter of Winter Sky Sandstone whose mature micron test was 23.2 with an SD of 5.8. Buster is not only spotted but carries modified colors and moonspots, since Sahra has a moonspot on her side. Buster will be genotyped sometime this summer and micron tested prior to entering the breeding pen this fall.
